Scammer promised a new tool in exchange for a marketing survey, with no purchase necessary. At the end of the survey, I was asked to provide shipping & handling for the tool. I had not noticed that the offer was for an entry into a drawing for the tool. Upon submitting payment information, I was charged $9.95 for one entry into the drawing (not shipping & handling), and then an additional $56 for additional entries (which I did not opt for). In a subsequent e-mail exchange, in which I asked them to cancel the order and refund the money, I was offered first a $20 refund, then a $40 refund. When the charges finally posted to my bank, they registered as a purchase at an online auto parts store and a digital vault account.
