Complaint Details
I contacted this business about a fender for my car. I told him I was skeptical about online purchasing. He told me he had the part. I asked for a picture of it. He emailed me one. Low and behold, luckily I had already researched this part. The picture he emailed me was from another yard in another state! The pictures were cropped, but it was the exact same car! I have spoken to the other yard a few times and know they are for real. This place also offered free shipping as they supposedly ship with their own trucks. When I confronted him about the picture being the same as a car in another state, he said oh google has the picture. If you google it, you will find it. What made me very suspicious was I asked him to email me the picture. He did, when I confronted him about fraud, he deleted the email! I then told him the email disappeared, I want to see that picture again. He sent it to me again. This time I screen shot it! Luckily,I did as he deleted the picture email again! He did however leave the email asking for payment! I looked up the address on Google maps. It does appear to be a small salvage yard, there is no sign. Oh, I also asked him where the fender was. He replied in our warehouse, in another breath he responded it is still on the car. He was very smooth about telling me he is not a scammer and was legit. Please beware and do not fall for them. I found them through a search online for my fender.
