In my online banking app, I noticed a charge that I did not make from Kraken Exchange. I called the 888-837-8818 # and was told in order to speak to someone I had to download the Kraken app and follow the prompts. I didn’t fall for it instead I looked up Kraken Exchange online and found the # 888-885-4046. I called it and he mumbled ———— (I couldn’t understand)support. I explained the charge from them and asked what it was for? He said let me look into this matter. I said ok expecting to be put on hold. He hung up. I waited about 30 minutes and called back. He answered with mumbling I couldn’t understand. I explained briefly about our prior conversation and he said this is something Auto parts store. What part do you need? I said “No” I know by your accent and the sound of your voice. I just spoke with you about fraudulent charges on my acct. He hung up. I called back with my mother’s phone and he mumbled ——— support (again) . I explained the same thing about fraud, he said this is a part store. He said tell me what part you need so I can transfer you. I told him again” I know this is Kraken Exchange. Also I informed him about the fraud. He hung up. I had to cancel my ATM card that has bills that come out on auto pay. While I was on the phone with the bank another charge for $33 showed pending. The first charge was for $59, and it showed recurring payments. I filed fraud through my bank and canceled my cards. This Kraken Exchange company is stealing $$ from Lord knows how many accounts besides mine. I hope you can look into this matter and get it resolved. Thank you for your time.
