Publishers clearing house sent a letter, more like a flyer, printed with only black ink on colored paper (looked like a copy of a copy) that said won second place in a $2.5M sweepstakes. It included a real check written out to me from Bridgcrest Acceptance Corporation for $8900.00. The flyer states this check is for legal fees and I am to call before I cash it and I am not to talk to anyone about my winnings because they don’t want someone else to claim them. The check was included, not the pic of a check on the bottom of the flyer. And the check is real, like the water color and safety features are there but the business name on the check is a company in the auto parts industry. I am thinking they are stolen.
